INTUITION
The teachings of the Tao emphasize the importance of using one’s intuition, not just one’s logical rational mind. Many of us do not rely on our own intuitive powers, because we cannot trust ourselves to have the correct answer without analyzing every aspect of an issue. We rely on the rational mind and neglect the far more powerful intuition, and because intuition is so underutilized, it never gets the chance to develop properly.
It is not too late to start listening to the intuitive voice. It may only be a whisper at the moment, but you will hear it if you listen for it. It will always be the first to speak when you see something that requires an assessment. Within a few seconds, it will provide the answer in the form of a gut feeling or a hunch.,
The Tao Today
Trust yourself. You have an incredibly powerful subconscious mind. It has a way of knowing that taps directly into reality. The more you trust it and tune in to it, the clearer and louder it will speak. Do not worry about how it knows what it knows. Worrying is precisely what distorts its message and makes it unreliable. Simply observe its workings and note how it gets better and better over time. Let it become the invaluable tool that you were always meant to use.
