AWARENESS CAN SET YOU FREE

When you are aware, the agreements you make are not subjugated to an identity. But when you are not aware, you are a slave to the identity you have created.

For example, I am free to choose to agree, disagree, scrutinize, and engage with the Toltec philosophy, or any other, as much as I want. I am free to relate to and engage in relationships with people who have preferences for other traditions or philosophies. I am not subject to the identity of “I am a Toltec.”

That is true with every belief: You engage it for as long as you want to engage it, knowing full well that you are a living being with the full potential to experience life with or without that agreement.
